Investment Opportunity at Verticus Condominium

As Verticus Condominium is nestled at Balestier Road, the closest MRT station is Novena MRT. Novena (District 11) is home to popular shopping malls like United Square, Goldhill Plaza Mall, Square 2 and Velocity. It is also said that after analysing the URA Master Plan for Novena, the most significant changes we can expect is transport and medical. We have also extracted information from Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) to showcase the transformation happening in the Novena area.

According to a report published by NPARKS titled “The Importance of Planning: A City in a Garden”, Zhongshan Park is the historical context of the place. Balestier holds a robust heritage value as Singapore’s identity under the Identity Plan in 2002. Being rich in history, Balestier used to consist of shophouses built in the 1840s and monuments such as the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall.

Zhongshan Park, a 0.46-hectare public park, was formed after a hotel site was sold in 2008 where the park development was part of the sales conditions.

By 2030, you can look forward to the much talk about Health City Novena by Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH). The 17-hectare integrated healthcare facilities will be linked physically with TTSH. Some of the new buildings that will be built include Ambulatory Centre at TTSH and the expansion of medical education facilities.

No land parcels are available in the Novena planning area. The supply of freehold new launches are also capped (preventing en bloc sales). With the increasing demand for medical facilities, residential properties may potentially increase as it attracts foreign investors and local buyers.
